Erasmus experience

December 2019

12 Erasmus partners from Spain, Poland, Romania, and Turkey have arrived in Potenza, Italy to discuss self-trust in using technology for educational purposes. Their experiences are varied: the Spanish partners are well-versed in educational technology, as their students regularly use Google Chromebooks instead of textbooks, while others have access to few resources.

During the course of one week, the Erasmus partners attended workshops on blog creation, teamwork and the dissemination of project results, and more. Outside of the classroom, they tasted peperoni cruschi (dried peppers that are typical of the Basilicata region of Italy), explored ancient homes in Matera, and discovered a technological history museum inside of the ITIS Picerno school. Luckily, their perspectives were recorded by the Radio ITIS Picerno!

The partners look forward to reconvening in the 4 other countries!

Thank you to the Coordinator Simona Ugliano and to the many teachers at ITIS who presented at the Erasmus conference.
